MISSION

1. To impart knowledge to student teachers to contribute towards excellence in education, social empowerment, eradication of discrimination of all types leading to fair share of development and progress. Further to impart qualitative education for all round development of the society and students in particular.

1. To inculcate multipurpose experience through social, cultural and moral values, patriotism, truth, cooperation, punctuality and time management values among student teachers and bring out their true potentials.
2. To sustain long term support and encouragement through different ideas, talent and innovations by using futuristic technology.

SHRI I. J. PATEL B.Ed COLLEGE, MOGRI

Charotar Education Society was established in the year 1916 on 16th of April. The objective was to give quality education to the students of rural areas and downtrodden section of the society. The constitution of Charotar Education Society was framed by Veer Vithalbhai Patel, elder brother of Sardar Patel who too was famous barrister.

OUR OBJECTIVES ARE:

1. To nurture inner urge for learning and development of positive attitude towards teaching profession.

2. To impart quality teacher education to enlighten, emancipate and empower the student-teacher peer group.

3. To develop the students by keeping in mind the global development in various fields especially teaching-learning process in a multifaceted role.

4. To acquaint with subjects and its application to curriculum transaction and evaluation.

5. To prepare competent, committed and creative teachers ready to work locally and globally.

6. To develop the inbuilt abilities of the students by providing them platform to take leading role in different programmes, co-curricular activities and teaching learning process.

7. To create an awareness of different issues like environment, female foeticide, pollution, population, communal harmony and national integration.

8. To enhance creative and critical thinking by rewarding excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities.

Secretary’s Message

Before independence 94 years ago Charotar Education Society was established on 16th April 1916. with the motto of Uttishthit Jagrat Prapt Varanni Bodhat. Till date it is striving to equip the students to face the challenges of 21st Century.
Shri Motibhai Amin a noted educationist and pioneer of library movement in Gujarat with others established CES. Shri Vitthalbhai Z. Patel the elder brother of Sardar Patel wrote the constitution of CES.

Shri Ganesh Vashudev Mavalankar was chairman of this trust during the period of 1940 – 1954.
