Cultural Programme : |

|
A youth week known as “Spandan” is celebrated
in the end of December with new year celebration. The parent
institution also celebrates ‘Rasostav’ cultural programme wherein
all the institutions take part in it. During this programme dance
and garba competition is also held. |

Sarvadharma Mela : |
|
|
|
Spreading the message of patriotism and
sacrifice, peace and progress of various religious and national
festivals are celebrated. The unique celebration on 5th September
‘Teacher’s Day’ is ‘Sarvadharma Mela’ wherein exposition of all
region spreading the message of humanity and brotherhood has
attracted students and teacher’s of Vallabh Vidyanagar and Anand. |

organize special two days celebration of Sarvadharma Sambhav mela on
teacher’s Day and celebrates a week named SPANDAN where various
co-curricular activities like distribution of clothes to the
downtrodden, lectures and community work, Yoga demonstration, etc.

varied learning experiences which develops student teachers’

Interdisciplinary / Multidisciplinary |
|
Education as such is multidisciplinary as it
derives concepts from the disciplines of Education, Psychology,
Management and ICT for Education. The nature of B.Ed. curriculum is
multidisciplinary as it emphasis on Languages, Social Sciences,
Science, Mathematics, Management, Economics and Commerce and ICT.
The student teachers are exposed to multidisciplinary experience
related with curriculum like visit to other Education Colleges to
see and watch Language and ICT Laboratories, Teaching Aid
Exhibition, presentation of different lesson plans on power point
presentation, visit to engineering college on engineer’s day
exhibition and visit to science college on science day fair.

Multiskill Development |
|
Multi skill development is achieved at the
institution through the development of Communication Skills, ICT
skills, Management skills and extra curricular and cocurricular
activites. |

Inclusive Education |
|
In paper I – Education in Emerging Indian
Society and Paper II – Development of Learner and Teaching Learning
Process, we have different topics like problems of mentally and
physically challenged children and human resource development.
Exposure to these gives the students awareness of inclusive
education. In addition to this, we arrange guest lectures to create
awareness on this issue; the student teacher’s are instructed to
treat such learners with sympathy, love, care and affection. |

5. School Experience / Internship |
|
Every student teacher spends at least ten to
fifteen full working days in block teaching and under well planned
internship programme. They get to familiarize themselves with the
working system of the school. This is an important pre-service
school experience. Student teachers get involved not only in
teaching but also in co-curricular activities, observation of lesson
of school teachers, administrative work (office records, registers),
visit all special rooms – (Science, library, computer, practical)
supervise examinations of the school and evaluation work and get
first hand experience. |

Student teachers prepare self-made teaching aids in
the institution.

Adoption of Sapling:
They grow a sapling and adopt it for the whole
year, they have to take care of it till it grows. Under the
Government Scheme we get 100 saplings free every year.

Tree Plantation :
Tree plantation programme held during both
block teaching in respective schools.

Street Plays :
To bring awareness for values as well as
eradication of social evils.

Andhshradha Nivaran: by poster, rallys.

Distribution of Clothes : -
Under the social service scheme of Rosary
School Shahibag, Ahmedabad, the institution gets 500 pair of clothes
every year and distributes to the downtrodden people of Mogari
village and other villages.
